ABOUT THE EVENTS:


Rapidly expanding research shows that mindfulness and self-compassion are strongly associated with emotional well-being, lower levels of anxiety, pain and depression and more satisfying personal relationships and enhanced self-care. This 8-week course is aimed at adults keen to learn how this practice can help them be their own good friend.


This 8-week course was developed by Drs. Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, and combines the latest research on self-compassion and mindfulness with ancient heart-based wisdom.

Suzanne holds the following qualifications: Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Master of Social Work, Master of Business, Graduate Diploma Adult Education and Training, Graduate Certificate Dispute Resolution, and Bachelor of Social Science (Majors in Psychology and Sociology). Suzanne is an accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (Member No. 440837).


Melita Caulfield


Melita is a psychology student with a particular interest in mindful self-compassion, shame resilience, vulnerability, connection and sincerity.
