About the Conference:
Innovations in the Science of Mindfulness, Empathy & Compassion
The Mindful Futures Network was established by Australia21 to provide a national forum for Australians investigating the organisational and societal benefits of mindfulness, empathy and compassion.
The emerging research on mindfulness, empathy and compassion is demonstrating improvements in decision-making, as well as advancements in social awareness and mindful cultures in business, education, medicine and society. But there are some downsides and these are also being examined.
This 2018 conference will discuss the new and emerging developments in Mindfulness, Empathy and Compassion and its application within business, education, health and community sectors. Speakers come from CSIRO, Institute for Positive Psychology and Education, Openground and Potential Project.
