Announcement: Aotearoa/New Zealand Compassion-based therapy approaches group

Kia ora katoa, a warm welcome from Aotearoa/New Zealand. We are excited to announce that several enthusiastic practitioners have come together to establish a collegial group of mental health practitioners in Aotearoa/NZ who have a focus on compassion-based therapy approaches.

We aim to provide a focal point where like-minded therapists can come together for connection, support, inspiration, resources, a reflective space and embodied practicewith a compassionate focus.

We are grateful to Compassionate Mind Australia for their collegial support and look forward to a closer relationship strengthening trans-Tasman compassion support.

Our small founding group have been meeting for the past year and we are hoping to connect with a wider compassion whanau/family both in Aotearoa and Australia.

If you are a practitioner based in Aotearoa/NZ and you work with or are interested in developing your practice with compassion based therapeutic approaches, we look forward to connecting with you.

Please complete this form to register your interest in being connected to Compassion Aotearoa. We intend to have a hui/meeting in the last quarter of 2024 where we can come together to discuss the future of Compassion Aotearoa - we look forward to hearing about your needs, interests and contribution.

If you are a non-practitioner interested in Compassion based mental wellbeing support, please register here so that we can update you with local opportunities and resources.
